This is going to be a night to remember!

For the first time in Australia, a combined Youth National event featured all 3 of the recognised sport climbing disciplines: Boulder, Speed, and Lead. The championships took place over 3 days at 3 different gyms down in Melbourne.

It was an action packed, non-stop weekend for competitors and organisers alike. Rocksports had an incredibly strong showing, with competitors in nearly every category, as well as multiple coaches, and a route-setter for the lead event.

Over the 3 days, all of the Rocksports crew did themselves proud, with strong performances, and demonstrating fantastic sporting spirit. Boston Denner took 2nd place in the Youth D Male Lead and Boulder events, as well as 3rd in speed, while Clea Hall managed 2nd in Youth D Female Speed.
